The Sinhala & Tamil New Year, a festival celebrating prosperity, harmony, good values and community among the Sri Lankan society is celebrated in the month of April (Bak).
The Members of Pioneers Youth hosted an Avurudu Celebration at Vajira Sro Development Centre, Kotte. The day was filled with laughter and joy. With a table full of Milk Rice and Kavili, traditional games and sports, we enjoyed the day as much as they did.
We were able to bring a smile to their faces and a memories to cherish for a lifetime.
