Hosted by the Department of Creative Engagement, the South Asia Forum is a continuous project that will be organized by Pioneers Youth each month.

The South Asian forum gives each of us the much awaited and the much needed opportunity to discover, analyze and discuss the problems that plague our nations while also giving an opportunity for you to be vocal about your own perspective as a citizen of the region. It’s high time we stop being spectators and be participants for the future.

In Session 1, volunteers dealt on the topic 'Strengthening Access to Information in South Asian Countries as a mechanism of transparency against institutional corruption. The final resolution can be found under Publications.

Under the monthly theme "Institutional Corruption in South Asia," Idea Bank held a panel discussion on the role of youth in combating corruption. The panel discussion featured three speakers: Ms. Sankitha Gunarathne, Mr. Sher Sha Khan Bangash and Mr. Gimhan Sooriyabandara.
In the discussion, the hosts explored corruption from various perspectives while encouraging the youth to refrain from corruption and fight it.

Akuruheena is a donation programme that aims to fulfill the educational needs of underprivileged children, because each and every child deserves to be educated regardless of their circumstances. The project was first conducted in 2020.

In 2022, the Co Op successfully accomplished the Akuruheena project by providing the following necessities to the "Ratnayake Memorial Child Development Centre in Matara"

2. CR books
3. Uniform Materials
4. Undergarments
5. Sanitizers
6. Masks

Pionera 2022 is a project that addresses issues that South Asians face in the education sector and provides feasible solutions for us to move forward as a region. Pionera will be among the continuous projects organized by Pioneers Youth.

In this session, we raised awareness and addressed issues in the Education System of South Asia.

Sexual abuse doesn't favor any gender. There are many misconceptions that boys or men are not raped or abused. The Idea Bank of Pioneers Youth is ready to open a discussion on male sexual abuse from an unbiased perspective. Join us to listen to three amazing personalities who are widely experienced in this field.

Pioneers Youth in affiliation with OceanBiome, hosted the Virtual Movers Boot-camp specially for the Sri Lankan Youth in collaboration with Movers Programme from 13th to 18th December 2021.

The Bootcamp included sessions on: 1) An Introduction to SDFs 2) Orientation to Entrepreneurs 3) Digital Branding and Employability 4) Quality Education 5) Gender Equality 6) Climate Action and 7) Leadership in Action.
